Hire terms
The short, readable version of our rental agreement. The full contract is issued with your booking confirmation.
Hires are contracted with CUE DEPT LTD, company number 17413530, Hammersmith, London. How we use the details you send is on our Privacy page.
Payment
No payment is taken online. You submit a booking request, we approve it and issue an invoice, and the hire is confirmed on receipt of full payment. Prices are ex VAT. CUE DEPT LTD is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to the total payable.
Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 14 days before the hire start date. Between 14 and 3 days, 50% of the hire is retained. Inside 72 hours the hire is charged in full.
Loss and damage
The hirer is liable for loss, theft or damage from delivery until the equipment is back in our possession, at full replacement value. Fair wear and tear excepted.
Late returns
Equipment returned after the agreed return date is charged at the standard day rate per additional day, plus any costs incurred where it prevents a following hire.
Delivery access
The hirer must provide safe vehicle access, a contact on site and a secure area for the equipment. Waiting time beyond 30 minutes may be chargeable.
Condition
All equipment is supplied tested, cleaned and PAT'd. Report any fault on arrival and we will fix it or swap the unit where a matching unit is free on your dates.
